This module will be devoted to introduce the fundamentals of some relevant methodologies for the experimental study of structural dynamics and protein function. In particular, spectroscopic techniques, covering the time range from femto to kilo-seconds, will be illustrated. Moreover, some case studies on hemeproteins, photoreceptors and fluorescent proteins, will be presented.
