This course will provide the PhD students with the relevant background to do research in the area of conformal and superconformal field theories.
The main topics will be:
1. Superconformal symmetry in various dimensions and its representations.
2. Constraints of superconformal symmetry on correlation functions, superconformal blocks and the crossing equations.
3. Connection with Vertex Operator Algebras and the moduli space of vacua.
4. The large quantum number expansion.
5. Representation of correlation functions in Mellin space and holography.
