Opportunities

The Call for Mobility for Internship Purposes  is aimed at providing grants for periods of mobility abroad for internship purposes, both under the ERASMUS+ SMT Program and under the University Action.
The University's Single Call for Mobility for Internship Purposes allows students and recent graduates (not more than 12 months old) to undertake a period of internship abroad of a minimum of 2 months (60 actual days) and a maximum of 12 and, limited to students enrolled in doctoral programs, to spend short periods of mobility for internship purposes (5 to 30 days) at companies or research institutions.

Erasmus+ Traineeship mobility requires:
- that the internship be relevant to the course of study and personal training needs;
- that the internship experience aim to support the development of transversal skills and to supplement the theoretical knowledge acquired in academic courses by offering a first contact with the world of work and scientific research in a sociocultural context different from the one of origin.

The internship activity carried out abroad is recognized in the form of CFU/ECTS credits within the academic curriculum, for example as a thesis activity in Master's degrees.

Note: Internship mobility to non-EU countries (either ERASMUS+ or from University funds) is not allowed for students and recent graduates of a Bachelor's degree program.

What does it take to do an internship abroad?

If you are planning to do an internship abroad, for example in preparation for your thesis activity, we recommend that you:

  1. Contact a faculty member in the Department who is involved in research activities of interest to you, expressing your intention to do an internship/dissertation in that field that includes (even in part) activities abroad.
  2. With his or her help, contact a company or research laboratory abroad.
  3. In consultation with the lecturer and his or her contacts, draw up a "Company Agreement": an agreement that stipulates the activities you will carry out, how they will be monitored, and who will be your contact person.
  4. With this document, you can participate in the Single Call for Proposals in the section called "LIST A".
