Topology of polynomially and rationally convex domains

Abstract. In a recent  joint work with K. Cieliebak we gave a complete
characterization of the topology of polynomially and rationally convex
domains in $\C^n$ for $n>2$, In $\C^2 the situation is more subtle. In the
talk I will describe a  progress in this case due to Stefan Nemirovski and
my student Kyler Siegel .
