Abstract:

The aim of the seminar is to provide an overview of the development of

multijunction (MJ) solar cells, from space to terrestrial applications.

After a brief introduction on the research activities carried out by RSE,

the potentials, limitations and perspectives of the MJ photovoltaic

technology will be described as well as the new  challenges for increasing

the conversion efficiency.
