Deforming the sphere to an ellipsoid still allows to preserve N=2 supersymmetry. We analyze how the deformation of the sphere affects these phase transitions and which consequences itimplies on the structure of a hypothetical gravitational dual. In some suitable limit we make contact withthe two-dimensional theory and discus implications regarding phase transitions for massivetheories.
