Abstract

Direct methods for solving kinetic equations are considered. Hybrid schemes with parallel algorithms Unified Flow Solver (UFS) are described. These schemes are added now due to new possibilities provided by kinetic model equations with chemical reactions developed by G.Spiga et al. Different flows with nonequilibrium boundary conditions are simulated by this direct method. Formulations of the problems for supersonic and subsonic regimes are proposed. Anomalous transport in these flows is observed and analyzed. Slow and fast chemical reactions are applied for the flows. Attention is paid in particular to the complex behaviour of the nonequilibrium entropy. Perspectives of application of simulations of these nonequilibrium flows in open systems for studying properties of biological systems are also discussed.
